It's a Passion!

I don't know how it started. However, as I recall my younger years, I am already interested in modeling. I

just love being captured by these photographers – Me, posing like a professional model. But it didn't stop there! It was in

my mid-year as an OFW when I met a friend, who is known to be an expert in photography. I was inspired by his shots,

and the images created by his lenses. Because of my interest with his works, I was encouraged to enroll in one of

the photography schools in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia - COMSOFIL.

 

I enrolled and pursued my avidity in photography and became part of the 2nd batch of graduates in Basic Digital Photography. To continue my expertise, I joined a lot of photo contests and won 3rd place in

Portrait Category, despite being a newbie. Due to these achievements, I was more inspired and further engaged myself in photo contests, even trying my luck in online competitions. As a result of my passion, I was trusted

by my peers and was elected as President of "Shutters Guild" - an event skilled photography club in Riyadh from

2010 - 2012.

 

To help me hone and enhance my skills in photography, I attended the workshop of Manny Librodo, a well-known

photographer and expert in this craft. Held in Dubai last November 2011 and April 2012 in Egypt. Since then, I've been

spending most of my free time - imagining, constructing and conceptualizing for my private photo shoots. Now, I’ve

started to create my own signature. Whether it is field events, products and conceptualized fashion photography. I

could say that I can now work with no pressure whether its studio or on-set location photo shoots.

Currently, I am leading a group, President of Riyadh Creative Artists (RCA) Fashion Photography. A group of

Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) based in Riyadh whose talents and skills are combined into one - photographers,

conceptualists, designers, stylist, makeup artists and models. RCA, in spite of serving the photography community,

have already started to establish its name in the world of high fashion photography, and had conducted workshops/

trainings for photography lovers.

 

This is my endeavor. Even though it only started as a hobby, this is now where my heart is - my devotion, my

desire, my passion ... my photography.
